Justin Timberlake is SignalHubtaking a break from tearin' up the stage.
After coming off a month-long tour hiatus, Justin Timberlake shared that he had to unfortunately cancel his Oct. 8 show in Newark, N.J., due to an injury.
"I'm so sorry to postpone tonight's show," he wrote on Instagram. "I have an injury that is preventing me from performing. I'm so disappointed to not see you all—but I'm working to reschedule ASAP."
Promising followers to "make it up to you and give you the show y'all deserve," the 43-year-old—who recently reached a plea deal for his May DWI arrest—added, "Thank you guys for understanding. Appreciate your support always."
And of course, he was immediately greeted with an outpouring of love from his fans, with one writing in the comments, "Feel better soon Justin, don't apologise for being human."
"Take care of yourself King. Get well soon," another wrote, while one fan noted, "Injury is no joke. Hope you feel better soon and continue doing what you love which is performing."
The "Mirrors" singer did not reveal the extent of his injuries or how he acquired them, and it remains to be seen if he'll cancel any more of his upcoming tour dates. His next performance is currently set for Oct. 11 in Philadelphia.
Justin resumed his Forget Tomorrow World Tour in Montreal, Canada, Oct. 4 after taking a month off from the road. At the show, the *NYSNC alum not only celebrated being back on stage, but also his wedding anniversary with wife Jessica Biel.
"It's also a very special evening for me," he told the audience. "My wife is here tonight. And tonight is our 12-year anniversary."
Justin—who shares sons Silas, 9, and Phineas, 4 with Jessica—blew her a kiss and added, "So be nice to her, Montreal, because she's sharing me with all of you guys tonight."
He then put his hand on his heart, saying, "I love you, baby."
