1 person injured in shooting at North Carolina mall, police say

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) — One person has been reported injured in a shooting at a mall in North Carolina on Wednesday, according to police.
Officers were responding to the shooting at Hanes Mall, located of Interstate 40 in Winston-Salem, as of 3:50 p.m., according to a Winston-Salem Police Department news release. Authorities said the shooting seemed to be an isolated incident.
The department warned anyone in the area to stay away from the large police presence at the mall. The shooting is under investigation as of Wednesday afternoon, officials said.
