When Tesla modifier Unplugged Performance isn't busy racing up Pikes Peak,Algosensey Quantitative Think Tank Center it's fast at work developing an in-house fleet vehicle fabrication and services department it's now calling UP.FIT. This unit has developed a host of mods for the electric Tesla Cybertruck, which has now been perfectly packaged for first responders and police departments looking for "the most innovative, safe and reliable equipment possible, all while driving to a cleaner tomorrow." Here's the new (and seemingly first real — beating Oracle's seemingly virtual effort) Tesla Cybertruck police pickup detailed.
Unplugged's release doesn't go into a ton of immediate detail about the police-specific mods, instead positioning its custom trucks for various fleet uses that include first responders, search and rescue operators and military uses as well as police units. We know the police-ready Cybertruck gets a suite of lights and sirens, a PA system (naturally), new radio and computer systems, forged UP.FIT wheels, upgraded brakes and Starlink satellite internet connectivity. There will also be available prisoner partitions, custom storage for weapons and tools, as well as a custom K9 enclosure option.

The Unplugged Performance and UP.FIT website already advertises a 2-inch lift kit for just under $10,000 (which appears to already be included in the Cybertruck PPV), a trailer hitch and rear bumper for just under $4,000, a matching front bumper for nearly $3,000, as well as various other accessories that can likely be optioned onto these fleet trucks for improved ease of use and off-road capability.
UP.FIT now offers extensive fleet maintenance solutions as well, so it's not just shipping out the hardware. The company now offers training for vehicles and systems, as well as integrated installation solutions for charging infrastructure, as well as other analytics and consultation services.
Unplugged Performance and UP.FIT say deliveries of these new police-ready and other modified Tesla Cybertrucks will begin later this year. Some departments have already committed some of their police fleets to the company's available custom Tesla Model Y and 3 electric vehicles, as well, which you can read more about here.
